Mayor Garcetti’s Office of Immigrant Affairs and the Mexican American Bar Association are collaborating to bring an Immigration Legal Consultation Virtual Fair to your community to help interested immigrant Angelenos learn more about possible immigration relief options.
The Immigration Legal Consultation Virtual Fair will be taking place the weekend of November 14th and 15th from 10am to 2pm. Participants will get a chance to talk with an accredited attorney for 20 to 30 minutes. Ideally, sign up by Wednesday. How:
Submit a printed sign up sheet by texting/emailing a picture of the completed form to: mabalegalfair2020@gmail.com.
All information will be kept confidential. Once participants have signed up either way, they will be contacted by the Office of Immigrant Affairs and given an appointment.
Legal services are limited to the consultation only. There is no ongoing relationship between the attorney and the participants. Participants may choose to retain the attorney who provided a consultation at their own cost after the consultation. The Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs will have no involvement after the free consultation. The Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs will give participants a list of trusted non profit legal service providers they can consult.

La Oficina de Asuntos Migratorios del Alcalde de Los Ángeles y la Asociación de Abogados México-Americanos están colaborando para traer una Feria Virtual de Consulta Legal de Inmigración a su comunidad para ayudar a los inmigrantes Angelenos interesados en explorar posibles opciones de alivio migratorio.
La Feria Virtual de Consulta Legal de Inmigración será el fin de semana del 14 y 15 de noviembre de 10am a 2 pm. Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de una consulta de 20 a 30 minutos por teléfono con un abogado de inmigración. Los esfuerzos para invitar a la comunidad a participar comienzan hoy y terminan el 9 de noviembre al mediodía. Los participantes deben registrarse antes de esa fecha a través de un formulario de Google (español / inglés) o someter la hoja de registro imprimida. La hoja de registro para imprimir se puede encontrar como archivo adjunto en este correo electrónico. Los participantes que se registren a través de los formularios impresos deberán enviar un mensaje de texto / correo electrónico con una imagen del formulario completado a: mabalegalfair2020@gmail.com. Toda la información se mantendrá confidencial. Una vez que los participantes se hayan registrado a través del formulario de Google o enviando un mensaje de texto / correo electrónico con una foto del formulario completado, la Oficina de Asuntos de Inmigrantes se comunicará con ellos y les dará una cita.
Los servicios legales se limitan únicamente a la consulta. No abra una relación continua entre el abogado y los participantes. Los participantes pueden optar por contratar al abogado que brindó la consulta a su propio costo después de la consulta. La Oficina de Asuntos Migratorios no tendrá ninguna participación después de la consulta gratuita. La Oficina de Asuntos Migratorios les dará a los participantes una lista de proveedores confiables de servicios legales sin fines de lucro.
