Help with this bus survey

Investing in Place, a local community organization, is launching L.A.’s first Public Works and Transportation Report Card to look at the functionality of our public space, from sidewalks to bus shelters to public restrooms. The bilingual report will be released in early January 2022. They would like to incorporate your ideas and perspectives as they are important to this project.

As a first step, they are looking for assistance on observational surveys on 6 key Metro bus routes: 18, 51, 108, 152, 200, and 207.

Two easy ways to get involved and collaborate with Investing in Place:

  1. Ride one or up to all of the 6 bus routes and complete the observational surveys. - Survey in English: bit.ly/BusSurvey2021 - Survey in Spanish: bit.ly/Encuestadeautobuses2021

  2. RSVP today to attend our November 16 Better Bus for LA Work Group meeting where we will start reviewing the bus survey data, and discuss the outline for the Report Card.

See the FAQ here: English / Spanish.

This grassroots data collection on the LA Metro bus ridership experience in Los Angeles will be an integral component of Investing in Place’s report, which will create a comprehensive and critical look at the City’s public works and transportation programs and investments.
